Who I am

Golam Mortuza is the Founder and CEO of MH Global Group, an international consortium of 13+ companies with operations across 17+ countries. Leading a global workforce of over 1000 employees, he is dedicated to transforming lives through education, innovation, and sustainable societal development.

Born in Sonaimuri, Noakhali, into a respected Muslim spiritual family, Mortuza draws deep inspiration from his late father, Dr. Golam Mostafa—a physician, regional leader, and reformist who devoted his life to social welfare, Islamic enlightenment, and community empowerment. Dr. Mostafa’s enduring legacy of service, as well as his role in establishing mosques, madrassas, and educational initiatives, continues to guide Mortuza’s vision and values.

To carry forward this legacy, Mortuza founded the Dr. Mostofa Hazera Foundation (DMH Foundation), which has become an essential institution for the people of Sonaimuri and Chatkhil. Today, the Foundation serves not only as a community partner but also as a vital part of daily life—supporting families across all walks of society, both in times of stability and during crises.

Through his leadership in business and philanthropy, Golam Mortuza remains committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills required to thrive as global citizens, while upholding his family’s values of service, integrity, and social progress.

MH Global Group

As the CEO of MH Global Group, Mr. Golam Mortuza leads an international organization dedicated to providing and advancing UK higher education worldwide. His vision drives strategic partnerships that bring world-class academic opportunities to students globally.

AWT Project

MH Global is pioneering the empowerment of dual degree programs in Bangladesh. Mr. Mortuza plays a vital leadership role in the coordination of the AWT project, working closely with the Bangladesh Army and key regulatory bodies, including the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), and Military Science & Technology (MST) institutions. He has personally submitted the strategic plans and presentations to the Chief of the Army, demonstrating the high-level commitment to this transformative national initiative.

Global Education Reach

As the CEO, Mr. Golam Mortuza is actively working in 17 countries to make a significant impact on the global education system. This dedication involves forging strategic academic partnerships and expanding access to high-quality, internationally recognized qualifications.

Pioneer Awards Recognition

Mr. Mortuza’s influence in the sector is underscored by his long-standing role as a keynote speaker. For the last three years, he has shared his inaugural speech at the Pioneer Awards, often recognized as the “OSCAR Awards of Higher Education,” cementing his status as a key thought leader in international academia.

Dr. Mostafa-Hazera Foundation Initiatives

Under the humanitarian umbrella of the Dr. Mostafa-Hazera Foundation, Mr. Mortuza steers several transformative and community-focused projects. These initiatives are designed to address core societal deficiencies and build foundational strength within communities.

Five Zero Project (Ongoing)

A bold, visionary initiative focused on eradicating five core societal issues (Illiteracy, Homelessness, Untreated Deaths, Unskilled Youth, and Beggars) within a defined community to create a scalable Model Town framework.

Pilot Project (Ongoing)

A foundational infrastructure initiative that focuses primarily on road reconstruction and development in specific underserved areas of various villages in Sonaimuri and Chatkhil Upazilas. This project is dedicated to increasing connectivity and promoting local economic growth through the development of vital road networks. At least 30 km of road development has already been completed, and more development projects are underway or in the pipeline. This physical development is crucial for the empowerment of future communities.

Parenting Course (Ongoing)

An essential educational program designed to equip parents with the skills and knowledge necessary for successful child-rearing in the modern era. The focus is on fostering moral values, emotional intelligence, and academic success in the next generation.

Scholarship Programme (Ongoing)

A commitment to fostering academic excellence by providing financial aid and educational resources to bright, deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds. This ensures that financial constraints do not limit intellectual potential.

Other Initiatives (Ongoing)

Dr. Mostafa-Hazera Foundation continuously launches and manages various other critical localized programs. These include providing direct financial assistance to the needy, offering 24/7 ambulance services for emergency patients, executing immediate disaster relief efforts, and sponsoring initiatives to uplift spiritual and moral knowledge. This portfolio demonstrates the Foundation’s commitment to dynamic, diverse community support.
